Migrate from Classic to Block Theme

We recently helped a client of ours migrate from the classic WordPress theme that they were using over to the latest WordPress default block theme Twenty Twenty-Five.

Whilst migrating the design of the site was straight forward, the client’s classic theme created a “Books” custom post type which we had to replicate by installing and setting up Advanced Custom Fields plugin.

With a small amount of tuition the client was quickly able to get to grips with the new powerful block editor and has managed to overcome several issues that he was finding too difficult to resolve on the previous theme.
