We build all our sites with the latest default WordPress theme which, at the time of writing (September 2026) still Twenty Twenty-Five!
We’ve yet to find something that can’t be done with WordPress full site editor and block themes and find them to be so much faster than classic themes.
The full site editor has come a long way since its release in 2022 with WordPress v5.9 and it amazes us how many web designers still use Elementor (or even WPBakery / Visual Composer)!
We fully believe that the WordPress “theme” will be a thing of the past now that a block theme is so customisable you can essentially do anything you want with the default theme out of the box!
