VPS Migration to Ubuntu v24.04

After a failed upgrade of their Ubuntu VPS server from v22.04 to v24.04 with the aim to upgrade PHP to v8.3 (since WordPress now recommends this version as a minimum) we undertook the task to manually migrate the live and development sites to a brand new server.

This not only required migrating the filesystems and databases for the web servers but also setup, configuration and testing of Apache, MySQL, PHP, Cloudflare and Certbot.

Unlike the server upgrade, the migration went to plan and the site is now running on updated architecture.
